Infiniti unveiled the concept engine Etherea 2011 Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. No B-pillar concept car is designed to re-imagine the compact luxury car for a demanding new generation of younger buyers, while offering a vision of a European future large Infiniti, where the convention that challenges the seal achieved in the first compact segment.
Hyundai Etherea propose a bold new approach for the premium compact segment. His dynamic and very sculptural, almost single-volume form gives a silhouette unlike anything currently in the classroom. It is cut some elegant, spacious saloon party, tailgate party practice and even some crossover rate. And being a Hyundai, there are many sports in the way it drives.
Ether is based on a platform in the house and the only innovative clutch system electric motor / twin used in the M35h Infiniti is currently sold throughout Europe. Etherea highly efficient hybrid drive uses a supercharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine of 245 hp, which is located along the front wheel. The transmission is a Continuously Variable (CVT) type and an Infiniti first drive to the front wheels.
As M35h Etherea hybrid powertrain is designed to use clean electricity and more often, for longer periods and at higher speeds than hybrids generally manage ether with added benefits of a hybrid out on the road and the streets of the occupied city. This maximizes efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions even further, while imposing no compromise on the front drive.
Infiniti Etherea concept uses an independent suspension, regenerative braking, and advanced drive-by-wire electric / hydraulic steering to improve the balance between performance and the field.
