SEAT has announced it is working on its first electric car designed, developed and manufactured in Spain. The Spanish manufacturer also unveiled a prototype of a plug-in hybrid TWINDRIVE Leon Ecomotive, with a prototype of a fully electric powered car zero emission electric Altea XL ECOMOTIVE.
In the coming months will SEAT units available in two models of state institutions in Catalonia and in Madrid for use of their fleets. Seat plans to launch its first plug-in electric hybrid vehicles in 2015 and the all-electric car will follow next year.
