Genesis Prada is the reborn version of the award winning 2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan, and is the result of the joint project of Genesis Prada to create a very special version of the model of Genesis. The production model of Prada Hyundai Genesis is revealed in Seoul, with sales limited to 1,200 units in Korea and a few exports to the Middle East and Asia including China.
Genesis Prada features a special design that combines sophisticated Prada innovation, attention to detail and uncompromising quality approach with Hyundai's advanced technology and expertise in automobile production. Hyundai and Prada worked together for over two years to perfect the model, having unveiled a special edition at the Seoul Motor Show 2009. For the first time a production model is introduced in the market. Based on the 2012 Genesis, Hyundai Genesis Prada is powered by V8 Tau, which has been selected as one of Ward's 10 best engines for three consecutive years since 2009. 2012 Genesis Tau 5.0 GDI engine delivers a maximum power of 430ps and a maximum torque of 52.0kgm, coupled with eight speed automatic transmission that allows the driver to harness the power of the cars and their driving dynamics at all.
Genesis Prada is available in three special colors - Black Nero, Blue and Brown Baltico Moro - used with a technology layer of three layers of nacre gold stereo. Dark Chrome is applied to the gate, the emblem and door handles to reflect the unique palladium-coated buckles on Prada handbags. The innovations introduced by Prada include alloy wheels 19-inch and an external antenna with a wedge shape. The Genesis Prada interior, have the dashboard and upholstery was also revised and crafts made of "SAFFIANO" leather - leather Prada signature top quality - for a luxurious finish and sophisticated.
