The new Astra GTC is very inspired by the Opel GTC concept car Paris, found last fall in the Paris Motor Show. The compact five-seater sports coupe with the attractive and spectacular proportions Astra GTC with a unique design that does not share anything outside members of the Astra family, except for the exterior mirror housing and the rod antenna.
Compared to the five-door Astra, the height of the body of the GTC is reduced by 15 mm, while the basic dimensions of the chassis to increase slightly. Update 2.0 CDTI common-rail diesel engine power was increased to 121 kW/165 hp is fitted with a particulate filter and six-speed manual gearbox. The petrol is currently leading the 132 kW/180 hp 1.6 turbo with six-speed manual transmission, which has a top speed of 220 km / h. The Astra GTC will have its world premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main in the 64th, 15-25 September 2011.
