For the 2011 model year, Acura's flagship sedan renewed RL. What is "fresh" means that when it comes to real life? It may not seem much more than an aesthetic touch, but there are a couple of new tricks out of the skin-PIN stored.
2011 Acura RL engine is still using the 300 horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine that drives all four wheels courtesy of Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The new gearbox is a six-speed sequential SportShift automatic transmission. It has a smooth-shifting unit, which allows online gambling courtesy of the wheel mounted paddle sports, while improving fuel economy by two miles per gallon highway - results come from 17 mpg EPA city and highway 24.
An improved gearbox is nice and all, but since it is an Acura, we are looking more for the new technologies. The RL 2011 is equipped with Helmholtz resonators on wheels (a "world premiere" of a passenger vehicle). These rooms sit in the center of the inside of the wheel and help reduce road noise, resulting in a quieter cabin. With the increased floor insulation, the 2011 Acura RL acts as a library on the road. Unless, of course, you turn the knob on the ELS audio system.

We know that the goal is a different market segment, but it does not mean that it loses its properties over a long period of driving Acura buyers expect.
