Subaru has announced a range of powertrains, the finish line, and changes in the team's popular Forester SUV 2011 model year, must add an additional attraction to this popular high-scoring vehicle.
The most significant change in the new model year is an update-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Power is 170, but at a slightly higher volume, and modify the belt driven single cam chain cam produces more power at lower rpm, and increase fuel economy by an EPA-estimated mpg . The figures are 21 mpg city/27 mpg highway EPA hours with the manual and automatic versions. Our Consumer Reports tested with 2.5 X model back to the fuel economy of 16 mpg city/28 mpg highway.
Other changes include a new model to 2.5 X Limited Touring. Line Touring present HID headlamps, reversing camera, dual zone air conditioning, roof rails, and turn signals integrated into side mirrors.
2.5 XT Premium models now includes versions and Touring, Touring and replaced at the top of the Forester XT Limited. 10-way driver's seat, black-out was added to the 2.5 XT Premium. This is a new audio system for high-end models, such as Bluetooth and iPod control, and 4.3-inch removable TomTom navigation system is available in some versions.
