Nissan 370Z GT has unleashed a special "GT Edition" to celebrate the brand's global success in GT racing and 40 years of Z in the UK. This special limited edition Coupe racing theme provides consumers with a choice of three special body color stripes, GT side only, dark 19-inch Rays forged alloy wheels and a significant number of suspension and changes in the team.
The GT edition acknowledges its heritage with a nod to the 1970 and the birth of the original Z car: special sidebands. The bands of "GT" are gray along the sides of the car with the contrast of the three special edition body color - Pearl White, Kuro (metallic) black and Black Rose, the shadow is a GT Edition Exclusive. The exterior is highlighted by the spoked wheels standard 19-inch forged alloy finished in dark anthracite drama.
Out of respect for the highest average speeds routinely enjoyed in Europe, changes in the chassis has been designed GT, the Nissan Technical Technical Centre Europe (NTCE) based in Cranfield, Bedfordshire. The main change is tuned shock absorbers to provide the ideal balance between ride comfort and handling at high speed. Equipment changes include the arrival of a rear parking camera as part of the system Premium Connect satellite navigation and the installation of a system for monitoring tire pressure. The advanced seven-speed automatic option now has a snow mode, when used, puts the car in second gear and the engine speed control to prevent wheel spin on ice or snow. The refinement is enhanced by revisions to underbody insulation to reduce road noise.
As its name suggests, the GT edition celebrates the presence of the Nissan GT Racing on the world stage. The new 370Z GT Edition is available to participate 370Z dealers with first deliveries expected in June 1, 2011. Prices start at $ 35,000.
